7:00 PM · Kissa Kissa, 667 Franklin Avenue, Crown Heights
66th anniversary of the October 24th, 1960 session

Night two of Atlantic Week: Coltrane Plays the Blues on the 66th anniversary of its session, Saturday, October 24th, 2026, at 7:00 PM. A free Coltrane 100 night at Kissa Kissa, the Japanese-style jazz vinyl listening bar at 667 Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Everything from October 24th, 1960
Everything that became Coltrane Plays the Blues was cut that single day at Atlantic Studios, and half of Coltrane’s Sound came out of it too — “Central Park West,” “Body and Soul,” “Satellite.” We play all of it, from Rhino’s 1960–1964 Mono box.
Free and open to the public. No cover, no ticket.
