Jazz Dispensary at ten: three new reissues from Craft Recordings
Jazz Dispensary turns ten this year, and three of its new reissues get the early evening. Roger Glenn’s Reachin’ is a Latin jazz flute record produced by the Mizell Brothers. Song of Songs is Woody Shaw’s second Contemporary album, recorded in 1972 with George Cables and Henry Franklin. Both are Top Shelf reissues cut from the original analog tapes. Nature’s World is Studio G’s library music for nature documentaries, back on vinyl after four decades.
Adam Ellis takes over the turntables at 8.
