A night through the British scene — Don Rendell and Ian Carr, Joe Harriott, Tubby Hayes, Michael Garrick — drawn from the Lansdowne reissues and a 1961 pressing of Rendell’s Roarin’ that lives on our shelf. David came up through the London jazz clubs of the mid-1980s, which is a lens nobody else on the roster has.
